Description
Not only is she a vocal educator who excels in bel canto, folk, popular, and pop singing styles, she is also China's first expert in qigong singing and health preservation, integrating traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) meridians, Tai Chi, qigong, and the wisdom of traditional Chinese culture with vocal music.
Her original non-drug self-healing techniques, such as "One Breath to Open All Meridians," "Five-tone Qigong to Treat Diseases," and "Six-Character Resonance Qigong," earned her the 2023 "Traditional Chinese Medicine Innovation Influential Person Award."
At this concert, you will not only enjoy her heavenly voice but also hear demonstrations and explanations of her vocal teaching.
Meet you face-to-face, up-close, and personal with you!
Teacher Li's words:
I began studying vocal music at China's top music academy at the age of 18, and have spent the past forty years there. Following the vein of vocal music, I have embarked on an artistic journey through song. The insights and insights along the way are like glimmers of light, and I long to share them with you.
I sincerely invite you to join this fireside chat about "sound" and "music." Let us shed the hustle and bustle, sing and chat, and return to our true selves. Through the bridge of song, we can———-see each other.
"Sound is like a mirror, illuminating ignorance; music is a medicine, harmonizing the five aggregates; qi is the art of Taoism, connecting heaven and earth; every breath is a spiritual practice; listening to music and understanding joy, the heart's imprint is revealed; voice and self become one, song carries the great path;"—Hui Lan's reflection
